Who says people in small towns don't know how to have a good time? Okay, I've never heard anyone say that . . . and it's a good thing because they'd be wrong!
A few nights ago in a quiet neighborhood in the heart of Haxtun . . .
. . . the owner of the Haxtun Hideaway hosted a Chamber of Commerce After Hours gathering.
It was a happy gathering of local business owners - sometimes the laughter was out of hand!
Wine and cheese were donated by Haxtun Liquors and Haxtun Supers. Now aren't you sorry you missed it?
It was a nice couple of hours filled with lively conversation between business owners who have served the local community for decades and those who are new entrepreneurs.
The Haxtun Chamber of Commerce invites all its members to these functions - quite the perk of membership! On that subject, their annual banquet is Feb 8th. If you are interested in becoming a member and attending the banquet, call the Town Hall for more info at 774-6104.
