Glimpse into the life of a farm kid
When you're a farm kid . . .
You're never quite sure how much chicken poop is in that brown smudge on your clothes and hands.
You wear boots more than other shoes (but not more than you go barefoot if you can help it) and they always have some sort of animal bedding stuck to them.
You think that pretty hat that Mom made you looks better covered with dirt and debris.
You entertain yourself by chasing the local tom cat, which makes him nervous because he's not used to being the prey.
And your faithful dog is always right behind you!
