Colorado Garden Gnome

After my post on the California Garden Gnome, I felt it only right to also do a post on their cousins, the Colorado Garden Gnome.

Also known as Snow Gnomes, they are better suited to the harsher winter climates of this territory.

They are not as shy as the California gnomes. This one has taken up residence around our place and is particularly friendly. I have found that cheese sticks are excellent treats to draw gnomes out of hiding.

Here, the gnome got very excited when she spotted some local wildlife.

Just like the gnome in California, this one seems to enjoy communing with the other animals.

Obviously, this is a sensitive and gentle species. Maybe it can even be tamed enough to live indoors! One can always hope.

(Okay, okay, I got all the silliness out of my system! Thank you for bearing with me. Friday I will return to my regular routine . . . fingers crossed)
