Travelling
Over this last weekend my daughter and I took a trip to a friend's wedding in Ellensburg, WA. When people asked if we drove or flew I would laugh and say, "We took a plane, but we spent more hours in a car!"
It took us three hours to drive to the airport. Then we had a two and a half hour flight. Finally we drove two more hours to Ellensburg. Altogether it was five hours of driving just to get to and from the airports going one-way.
That's one of the prices we pay to live out in the country!

I understand! When I first moved to Anchorage I lived 5 mins from the airport, but have since moved to the suburbs. Not quite as far as you, but still about an hour away. Last summer we roadtriped it down through Canada and back up through Montana. It was so much more rewarding even though it took 40 days we got to see much more!
